St. Joseph School is a highly recognized learning institution for children in Preschool, Elementary to High School. It is the first nursery school in San Pablo City. Dr. Jose L. Mercado, a physician and Eufrocina A. Mercado, a teacher, founded it in 1971. Today it is managed by SJS, Inc., composed mostly of the founders’ children.
